neighbourhood planning

Alderley Edge Parish CouncilNeighbourhood Plans were introduced as part of the Localism Act 2011. They have replaced the ‘Parish Plan’ which no longer has any legal status.

Neighbourhood Plans are a way for a community to say what it wants its priorities to be over the next 15 years.

The Parish Council will play its part, but the idea of a Neighbourhood Plan is that it is led by the wider community, who will then vote on it at a Parish Referendum.

If you can help and would like to be involved in the development of our Neighbourhood Plan please complete this form and send it to the Parish Clerk
