AGENDA

  1. To elect the Chairman of the Council and to receive the Chairman’s Declaration of Acceptance of Office
  1. To elect the Vice Chairman and to receive the Vice Chairman’s Declaration of Acceptance of Office
  1. To receive apologies for absence
  1. To receive any declarations of interest from Members
  1. To review the Council insurance policy and discuss/decide on alterations
  1. To review Committee Structures and to appoint members to serve on the under mentioned Committees
  • Plans
  • Finance
  1. Appointment of Lead Councillors: As per attached list – Councillor responsibilities  2020/21.
  1. To affirm the Parish Council’s eligibility to use the General Power of Competence (namely that the number of Councillors elected at the last ordinary election, or at a subsequent by-election, must equal or exceed two thirds of its total number of councillors, and that the Clerk is suitably qualified).
  1. Delegation of Powers: To approve the delegation of the Parish Council’s power in respect of planning matters to the Plans Committee of the Parish Council and finance matters to the Finance Committee of the Parish Council.
