Parish Councillors are summoned to a meeting of the Parish Council to be held on Monday 12th May 2025 at 7.30pm at the Festival Hall, Talbot Road, Alderley Edge.
AGENDA
1. Apologies for Absence.
2. Declarations of interest and requests for dispensation to discuss, or discuss and vote on a matter in which a member or co-opted Member has a Disclosable Pecuniary interest (DPI)
3. Public Participation – A period of not more than ten minutes will be made available for the public to ask questions or submit comments.
4. Minutes of the Parish Council meeting of 14th April 2025.
5. To ratify the Plans Committee minutes of 14th April 2025.
6. To ratify the Finance Committee minutes of 14th April 2025.
7. To receive an update on the Festival Hall.
8. To review the PCSO and CCTV reports.
9. To approve accounts for payment.
10. To consider any grant applications received.
11. To approve Section 1 (Annual governance statement 2024/25) of the Annual Return for the year ended 31st March 2025.
12. To approve Section 2 (Accounting Statements) of the Annual Return for the year ended 31st March 2025.
13. To agree spend on Christmas lights maintenance.
14. To agree renewal of Unity Trust 6 month fixed term deposit
15. To approve spend of £2000 for a feasibility survey of the extension of the traffic calming measures.
16. Reports from Councillors.
To resolve that under Section 1 of the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960 the public and press should be excluded from item 13 of this agenda in view of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.
17. To discuss and agree actions relating to Medical Centre tenants.
