Alderley Edge Remembrance Sunday Service – 9th November

Join us on Sunday 9th November as our village comes together to remember those who served and sacrificed.

The Service of Remembrance will begin at 10am in St Philip and St James Church, before moving to the War Memorial for the laying of wreaths at 10.45am, followed by the Two Minute Silence at 11am.

For the first time in many years, the service will take place in the morning, allowing the community to join the national act of remembrance at 11am.

We are also grateful to the Poppy Appeal volunteers who are out across the village this week, giving everyone the chance to show their support.

Refreshments will be served in the church after the service, and Ryleys Lane will be closed during the outdoor ceremony.

Everyone is welcome.

We will remember them.
