Congratulations t
o everyone who completed the Summer Reading Challenge this year.
This years theme was “Read to the Beat” , exploring the connection between music and stories. The challenge, which was open to children aged between 4-11, was to read books throughout the summer holiday and upon reading six books, a certificate and medal would be awarded.
The award ceremony was recently held in Alderley Edge Library and was attended by lots of children,
together with guests from both Cheshire East and the Parish Council.
