Wishes for the World – Now on Display at Alderley Edge Library
At our Alderley Edge Together at Christmas event, local children were invited to write their Wishes for the World — sharing hopes for kindness, peace, the environment, and the future they’d like to see.
The response was incredible, with so many thoughtful and heartfelt wishes now beautifully displayed in the Children’s Library. It’s a wonderful reminder of how much our younger residents care about their community and the wider world (with, of course, the occasional wish for a PS5 at the end!).
The display will remain in place until the Library closes for Christmas, and we encourage residents to pop in, take a moment to read the messages, and enjoy this uplifting part of our festive celebrations.
