Alderley Edge Parish Council has arranged an additional planning meeting to allow residents to hear more about, and comment on, a major planning application submitted by Story Homes.
The meeting will take place on Monday 26th January at 7.30pm at the Festival Hall.
The proposed development is expected to be one of the largest developments in the village in recent times.
The meeting will provide residents with the opportunity to raise concerns or to speak in favour of the application, ensuring that a broad range of views can be heard.
Cllr Vince Fogharty, Chair of Alderley Edge Parish Council, said: “All councillors have been approached or contacted by residents regarding this development and its potential impact on the village, both positive and negative. While the Parish Council is just a consultee in the planning process, we felt it was important to hold this additional meeting to ensure residents have the opportunity to attend, be informed, and make their views known.”
